This wood kit includes the village scene cut from 1/8″ thick Baltic birch plywood, a backer cut from 1/4″ MDF and spacers to separate both pieces for a more dimensional appearance. This will also allow you to put lights in between both layers if you wish as you can see in the sample photo.
