The pattern for this medium-sized (9″ wide) plaque includes detailed instructions with lots of step-by-step color photos for creating both the whale-shaped plaque as well as the optional stand as shown in the sample pictures. You can use my two-piece bevel-cut surfaces as shown, or easily adapt it to your own surface, as the design and technique are adaptable to any surfaces you may have. It would look great on boxes, plates or ornaments of any shape and would certainly add charm and interest to any nautical setting.
